About Club Kokomo Roadrunners



Club Kokomo Roadrunners is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Membership is open to anyone interested in running, walking, and fitness. The goals of the club are:

  • to encourage people to recognize the healthful benefits of running and walking
  • to promote recreational and competive running and walking


Membership

The annual rate for an individual membership is $15; a family membership is $20; student (K-12) $5; retired (60+) $10. Applications are available here

  • our monthly newsletter,
  • entry into Annual awards for age group winners
  • reduced rates for club races


Major Activities

    Haynes-Apperson Races Held the first Saturday in July in conjunction with the Haynes-Apperson Festival in downtown Kokomo, Indiana. Races include a 1 Mile Fun Run, 4 Mile Run, 3 Mile Walk, and Youth Track Meet.

    Age Graded 4 Mile Run & 5K Walk Indiana's Most Unique Road Race! Held the second Saturday in August in Highland Park. Features age & gender-adjusted starting times. Also features a 5K walk.

    Annual Awards Banquet Every January we have an awards banquet to celebrate the year's accomplishments and to pass out a series of awards for various categories.

    Mike Cowan Scholarship Program Every year we award a number of scholarships to our college-age members who apply. These scholarships are funded through several club money-making activities. Awards are for one year and are not necessarily based on need. Download a scholarship application form here.

    Coyote Kids Running Program A free program aimed at getting kids of all ages intereseted in running. Trophies are awarded based on attendance rather than competition.
